Personal development

I was at one of the lidi’s that I go to regularly. There were some gypsies parked in the corner of the car park. I looked at them, and I smiled. They have freedom -I thought- and I have this too. This is to roam, and then go to a place that suits. However, I would not park up illegally. They might do sometimes. Different cultures see life differently. If you learn to see another viewpoint, it may make you happier. The secret is having good habits, and then living a clean life. I do this.

If I park up, I will clean up on my departure. It makes me happy. This is not about the van life. I do it anywhere that I am. I do it nearly every day.

I listen to this on you tube by Brian Tracy often. Here is the link below:

Anyone can get on; you must have a plan. I do. Person development for life will assist here. However, human nature must be challenged. This is getting the correct role models, and then your life will change for the better. Brian Tracy is a natural. Good talker and he speaks the truth too.

Someone else I admire is Jim Rogers. Here is the link below.

Personal development is all about role models. If you would like to have financial independence, you must read the books. It can be done. However, you must have a plan. There is no easy path. It takes hard work and commitment. Winning the lottery, the odds are against you. If you read the books of winners, you will see their life. You can have it too. Just copy it into your personality traits and with time. You will have the same results.

For example, in July I am doing the six-pack. I have plan it. I am even now preparing for the challenge now. Getting into the zone takes a lot of preparation. I must get a battery bank, and I will go into my reserve if I have too. The freezer is a strong necessity for my nutrition.

My reserve I never touch, but I may need to use it. July is an excellent time to do the six-pack. The weather is good, and it is easier with good warm weather. January is a hard month for getting into shape. These are viruses and the cold weather just must it extremely difficult.

Van life

I will build my 300 watts solar (3 more panels) this week. I look forward to having the extra power. Now at time of writing I am getting 13 watts at 9.23 on the 04.06.22. If I have another 3 panels, it could be 52 watts (in total) in poor cloudy conditions.

My plan is to have a 1000w power bank soon. If I have this power, I will be able to run a kettle. This is good because hot water is handy. It also means that I can wash my hair, and I will be able to have a cloth wash too. Moreover, I be quiet at the same time. Silent running in the van life is always a good idea. I could also park up at a store location, and then make a hot meal. Optionality is always a good idea. Presently, I do not park up and cook a meal at a store location. I have to run my engine, or I must run my generator. Power bank I will do it at a store.

Not disturbing others is important to me. (It is all about little quiet steps.) I have done the van life for 1 year now. I love it. However, I would like to be able to park up for longer periods. It is all about self-improvement. If you get the experience of something, you will know its weaknesses. Having optionality with goals are complementing.

The Open University I love so much too. I might do more studying with them. I would like to obtain a masters. If I upgrade my van, I will be able to stay at one location and study hard. Travelling is good, but for studying it may be distracting sometimes.

It is all about positives and minuses.

Travelling is good. I had another odd conversation in a shop. A fellow customer said, “I am from North Wales.” I replied, “They do say that the North and South Welsh do not get on together. Is this true ?.” He replied, “ We are closer to the NW of England than to the southern Welsh. This is because of no direct road link to Cardiff and other southern areas of Wales.”

I checked on google and it is true, or it made sense. There is no motorway link inside Wales that goes North to South. There are A roads but they then to go all over the place.

Trading.

My daughter’s trust fund I will be adding to it soon. She has two dividends going into it as well. Once they have cleared, I will either buy a silver ETF or a precious miner. I do like SLP.(ticker LSE) Here are the details are below.

Gold and precious miners are my thing. Here is a gold chart. It might breakout to the upside too.

My trading is like this: I trade the trend for the next five years. Trading is tough, but if you buy good companies and ETF’s you may win in the longer term. I do not do any leverage (No debt). This way I will never get margin calls. If you own the asset, it may go down, but you will not lose your position. If you buy on leverage, you may get a margin call if your trade goes against you. If you cannot pay the margin call, your broker will close out your position. (You must avoid this. I do) Commodities are volatile. The nugget is that they can go up X3 or more. However, patience is the game with commodities. (They are like 10 women.) You must be able to handle the noise of your trade.

Ian is wishing you a good day/week.
